Former India fast bowler Jawagal Srinath will set a record in the match against Nepal.  He will play his role in the 250th match as a match official.  He will be the fourth ICC match official to do so after Srinath Madugale, Chris Broad and Jeff Crowe.

Javagal Srinath shocked the cricket world in 2023.  After that he joined the role of match referee from ICC.  Since then, he has played the role of referee in 249 matches.  This will be the 250th match between India and Nepal.

Srinath has expressed happiness after achieving such a big milestone. "It feels good to reach such a long distance as a match official.  I have completed 17 years of this work.  I can't believe I have played this role for more ODIs than I have played so far."
