MG Windsor EV launched at Rs 9.99 lakh MG has launched its third pure electric offering in India – the Windsor EV. It is available in three variants: Excite, Exclusive and Essence, with prices starting at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The price does not include the battery pack, which is offered on a subscription basis at Rs 3.5 per km. The MG Windsor EV is a rebadged version of SAIC’s Wuling Cloud EV sold in global markets. The car has low-set LED headlamps and an LED light bar stretching across the front fascia. The rear features L-shaped LED taillights connected by an LED light bar. Inside, the Windsor EV gets a 15.6-inch Grandview Touch Display – the largest touchscreen infotainment system in the segment and Aero-Lounge seats in the rear that can recline up to 135 degrees. Other features include a 2-spoke steering wheel with a digital instrument cluster, an Infinity View glass roof, a powered tailgate, power-adjustable front seats, wireless phone charger and connected car tech. The Windsor EV gets a whole host of safety features as well. These include ADAS, a 360-degree camera, hill hold assist, four airbags, ESC and disc brakes on all four wheels. The Windsor EV packs a 38 kWh battery that is said to deliver a range of 331 km. It powers an electric motor with an output of 134 BHP and 200 Nm. The car has four driving modes: Eco+, Eco, Normal and Sport. It supports DC fast charging, which takes 40 minutes to charge the battery pack.
