Their career urgently needs a hit. That’s why they chose the love story they liked and made ‘Khushi’. Shiva Nirvana is an expert in making love stories emotional. Hype has been created on ‘Khushi’ ever since she chose Vijay and Samantha as the pair for her story. As the songs became super hits and the promotions were also organized in a grand manner, the expectations of this movie increased. Today (September 1), the film has released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam languages with huge expectations. And how is this movie? Let’s see in the review.

The story of ‘Khushi’ is..
Lenin Satyam (Sachin Khedekar) is an atheist. He promotes to believe in science and not to be deceived by superstitions. He does not believe in gods. His wife Rajya Lakshmi (Sharanya) is worshiping without her husband’s knowledge. And his younger son, Vilabal Devarakonda (Vijay Devarakonda) is also an atheist. After getting a job in BSNL, he asked for a posting in Kashmir. There he sees Aara Begum (Samantha) and falls in love at first sight. Knowing that she is a Muslim girl from Pakistan, he is determined to marry her.

Aara Begum is infatuated with the love shown to her by Vilabol. Then she says that she is not a Muslim girl but a Brahmin girl and her real name is Aaradhya. She says that her father is Chadarangam Srinivasa Rao (Murali Sharma), a soothsayer from Kakinada. Chess does not suit Srinivasa Rao, Lenin does not like Satyam. If one believes in God and astrology, the other believes in science and technology. Both the families do not agree to their marriage. Viplav and Aaradhya marry for love against their elders. What happened after that? What is the reason for the quarrel between the two? Did the elders of the two families get separated? Or meet? What finally happened? You have to watch the movie to know.

How is it..
Quarrels between husband and wife are natural. At one point or another, there will be conflicts between the Alumagas. ‘Khushi’ is a movie where Chatti says that life is about bearing them and moving forward by being with each other. Moreover, another sensitive aspect is also shown in this. This is a beautiful love story that shows that children who share blood, theories and sciences are not greater than family.

As a story, Khushi is nothing new. A boy and a girl belonging to different religions fall in love..The elders refuse to marry them..They get married after confronting their parents and facing hardships..There have been many movies in the past with this concept. The story of ‘Khushi’ is similar. But the story is a bit different.

Director Siva Nirvana, who showed the pain of a man who has failed in love in the films ‘Ninnukori’ and ‘Majili’. He showed the impact of those misunderstandings on those coming from families with different backgrounds. If the first half shows the love story of the hero and heroines, the second half shows the married life.

The movie starts with introducing the character of Lenin Satyam. After that the story moves slowly until the hero goes to Kashmir and meets the heroine. When Begum falls in love.. From then on the story goes interestingly. Some of the things Vivlav does to win Begum’s love are laughable. The scenes between Vennela Kishore and Vijay are hilarious.

Hero knowing the real thing..convincing both the families for marriage..all this is routine. The romantic song that comes after the wedding is very impressive to the youth. After the interval scene, you can guess how the story will progress. Even so, the interest in the film does not decrease. Although there is a scope to develop more comedy in the second half, the director did not think in that direction.

The scene where the hero goes to the hospital for the tests will bring laughter in the theatres. And the last 30 minutes, the story becomes emotional. The scenes written by the director are wonderful to show that love is greater than science. He showed such sensitive topics on the screen very sensitively. Climax is routine. Although the story and narration are not new, there are many scenes that will please the family audience. Melodious songs, beautiful locations, visual effects and background music enhance the film.

Who did it?
Vijay and Samantha have played adorable roles of Vilabal Devarakonda and Aaradhya. The chemistry between the two has worked out well. No shades of Vijay’s previous films are seen in this. Like the boy next door, Vijay looks very handsome on screen as a loverboy. His comedy in Vakheerani Hindi in Firstoff is a laugh-out-loud comedy. He also acted well in emotional scenes. And Samantha has also adapted to her role just like the previous movies. Chinmayi’s dubbing brought more depth to her role.

Sachin Khedekar impressed with his performance as the hero’s father, the atheist Lenin. Murali Sharma once again shows his experience on screen as chess prophet Srinivasa Rao. Vennela Kishore’s comedy was very successful in the first half. Jayaram, Rohini, Rahul Ramakrishna along with the rest of the actors acted within the scope of their roles.

As far as technical matters are concerned.. Another major strength of this movie is Hesham Abdul Wahab’s music. The songs became super hits before the release of the movie. Even on screen, the songs are melodious and beautiful. The background music adds to the level of the film. Murali G. Cinematography is an added attraction to the film. He has shown the beauty of Kashmir well on screen. Every scene is so beautiful. Editor’s performance doesn’t matter. The production values are high as per the movie.
