As M9 had exclusively revealed earlier, the stage is being prepared for the postponement of Salaar. The makers will announce the same very soon.
In this context, there are now several reports pertaining to the possible new release date for Salaar.
There are reports from top Bollywood media personnel that the film could be releasing in November. One of the possible slots is November 10 – Diwali, but this slot is locked by Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 already. Tiger 3 has the sequel advantage and it has superstar Salman’s value to add to. Clashing with this film can leave Salaar in a despairing state in the Hindi belt.
And then, there is the other date of November 23, which has a long weekend advantage, but there is a catch here as well as there is this Hollywood film, Napoleon which has sealed 22 November as the release date. The USA distributor for Salaar will find it hard to find IMAX screens in this case as Napoleon has booked the screens already.
Salaar is a pan Indian biggie and it needs to have the best possible slot not just in the Telugu market but also in the domestic Indian market and also international circuit.
All in all, there is a lot going on for Salaar as the film is differing the release date. The best possible release date will be assessed by the makers and an official announcement will follow shortly after.
