The Honda Elevate is the latest offering from the Japanese automaker, and it competes with popular rivals in the mid-size SUV segment such as the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, and Volkswagen Taigun. Honda has priced the Elevate competitively, with prices ranging from Rs 11 lakh to Rs 16 lakh for four available trims (SV, V, VX, and ZX).

In comparison, the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara are priced between Rs 10.87 lakh and Rs 17.89 lakh, Rs 10.90 lakh and Rs 16.91 lakh, and Rs 10.70 lakh and Rs 16.91 lakh, respectively. The Elevate’s competitive pricing makes it an attractive option in the segment.

Honda announced the prices of the Elevate SUV on September 7, 2023, with deliveries commencing on the same date. Dispatches of the SUV began in August 2023, with a total of 2,822 units dispatched in that month. Honda’s Amaze compact sedan and City mid-size sedan retained their positions as the top-selling models, with total sales of 3,546 units and 1,494 units, respectively. Under the hood, the Honda Elevate is powered by a 1.5L, 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 121bhp. The SUV is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed CVT automatic gearbox. It rides on Honda’s Global Small Car platform and has dimensions of 4,312mm in length, 1,790mm in width, and 1,650mm in height. The Elevate has a wheelbase of 2,650mm, ground clearance of 220mm, and a boot space of 458 liters.

The top-end trim of the Elevate comes exclusively with an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite that includes safety features such as a collision mitigation braking system, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, lane departure warning, road departure warning, and automatic high-beam assist. It also features a single-pane sunroof, a free-standing 10.25-inch infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, an 8-speaker sound system, leatherette brown upholstery, an auto-dimming interior day/night mirror, and more.
