The new Tata Nexon and Nexon EV are poised to make their debut in showrooms on September 14, 2023. Nationwide bookings for these updated models are already underway. The 2023 Tata Nexon facelift model lineup will be available in four trims: Smart, Pune, Creative, and Fearless. These trims will further be categorized based on the presence of optional packages denoted by ‘+,’ and the availability of a sunroof indicated by ‘S.’

The top-end Fearless trim boasts exclusive features, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument console, a wireless charger, a cooled and illuminated glovebox, an air purifier, a rear defogger, the X-press cool function, a 4-speaker + 4-tweeter sound system, leatherette seats, ventilated front seats, connected car technology, LED taillamps with welcome and goodbye functions, and sequential LED DRLs. The subcompact SUV is available in six monotone colors: Fearless Purple, Pure Grey, Daytona Grey, Creative Ocean, Flame Red, and Pristine White. Buyers also have the option of dual-tone colors with Flame Red, Daytona Grey, Fearless Purple, and Pristine White shades.

2023 Tata Nexon EV

The engine lineup of the new Tata Nexon includes a 120PS 1.2L turbo petrol engine and a 115PS 1.5L diesel engine. Transmission options encompass a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed AMT, and a 7-speed DCT.

On the other hand, the 2023 Tata Nexon EV will be offered in two versions: Medium Range (MR) and Long Range (LR), further categorized into three trims: Creative, Fearless, and Empowered. Both MR and LR variants are equipped with either a 30kWh or a 40.5kWh battery, promising ranges of 325km and 456km, respectively. Both versions feature Tata’s Gen-2 permanent magnet synchronous motor.

Regarding pricing, the new Tata Nexon and Nexon EV are expected to witness a minor price increase. The pre-facelift versions of both models are priced between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 14.60 lakh and Rs 13.99 lakh and Rs 16.85 lakh, respectively. Speculations suggest that the prices may rise by approximately Rs 50,000.
