The legendary off-spinner Muthiah Muralidaran is the only player in International Test cricket history to have taken 800 wickets. Hence, his biopic is titled ‘800’. The movie locked its theatrical release date.
The biopic ‘800’, produced by Movie Train Motion Pictures, will release in theaters on October 6. ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ fame Madhur Mittal plays the title role of Muralidaran. Mahima Nambiar is the heroine.
The film is directed by MS Sripathy.
Sridevi Movies’s Sivalenka Krishna Prasad is distributing the film nationwide. It will be released in huge number of theaters.
