vivo just announced the T2 Pro in India, which looks like an enticing midranger with MediaTek’s first 4nm mid-range chipset, the Dimenisty 7200. The handset’s official release, however, is scheduled for September 29, 7 PM local time and sales will commence on Flipkart.
Apart from the Dimensity 7200, the T2 Pro boasts a large 6.78-inch curved AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, 1,300 nits of peak brightness and 10-bit color depth. The available memory variants are just two – 8GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB.
The camera hardware on the back is one of the phone’s standout features, as it offers a 64MP f/1.8 OIS main shooter along with a 2MP depth sensor, while the front packs a 16MP f/2.5 snapper. The back camera is also aided by an LED ring flash, which vivo calls Aura Light.
Battery capacity isn’t as impressive, though, as it’s below the industry’s standard – 4,600 mAh. The T2 Pro compensates with a 66W fast charging solution and with a surprisingly light design. The handset tips the scale at 175 grams while incorporating a glass back and IP52 protection against splashes and dust.
The vivo T2 Pro will come in New Moon black and Dune Gold and it’s up for pre-order, starting at INR 21,999.
