The highly anticipated film “Salaar” has left fans and trade circles disappointed due to its continuous postponement and confusion surrounding its release date. Originally slated for September 28th, the film’s release has been repeatedly rescheduled, causing frustration among movie enthusiasts and distributors.
The latest twist in the saga is the announcement of a December 22, 2023 release date, which has sparked fresh uncertainty. Coincidentally, several other major releases, including “Hi Nanna,” “Saindhav,” and Shah Rukh Khan’s “Dunki” were already announced on this date.
Reportedly, “Hi Nanna” is considering advancing its release to the first week of December to avoid clashing with “Salaar.” On the other hand, “Saindhav,” featuring Venkatesh Daggubati, is also eyeing a Sankranthi release.
This decision, however, could trigger a ripple effect, requiring other films to reschedule their release dates.
Hi Nanna is a potential winner as the film promises to be a heart-touching emotional entertainer. Nani has been very choosy about his scripts of late. He is coming after a big success like Dasara and ‘naturally’ there are good expectations from the film.
Saindhav also seems like has the potential to create ripples at the box office. Venkatesh playing his age in a rugged action entertainer and that too in the direction of Sailesh Kolanu who has given successful ‘HIT’ films is always an exciting project to look out for.
These two films are the most affected by Salaar’s sudden announcement on December 22.
