Vikash Chandra Pandey, Patna. Bihar caste census report: After going through the rounds of courts, the report of caste based census in Bihar became public on Monday. With this calculation the population of the state was also estimated. In this, maximum 36.01 percent population belongs to extremely backward class. Backward classes are at second position with a share of 27.12 percent.
The share of these two classes in the total population of 13 crore, seven lakh 25 thousand three hundred and ten has reached more than 63 percent. This number automatically indicates the nature of future politics. The reactions of various political parties are also beginning to reflect this.
This calculation shows that the number of castes and sub-castes in the state is 215. Mangalamukhi is also included in these. Earlier, the certified data of enumeration of castes dates back to 1931. The population of Scheduled Castes and Tribes was counted in 1971, there is some difference between the figures then and now.
Hindu upper castes have declined relatively, while the numbers of some groups of backward classes and scheduled castes have increased significantly. Currently 15.52 percent of the total population is upper caste. Population of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe respectively. 19.65 and 01.68 percent.

Figures will decide future goals
While releasing this data on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the priest of truth and non-violence, Development Commissioner Vivek Kumar Singh did not deny its economic-social analysis.
According to him, these are figures very close to reality. These will be useful elements for planning plans and balanced development of all sections. On the basis of this, future goals can be set and the marginalized population can be uplifted. Due to Aamir Subhani being unwell, Vivek Kumar Singh is currently in charge of the Chief Secretary.
About 5.4 million people out of state right now
These figures have been collected from a total of two crore 83 lakh 44 thousand one hundred and seven families. The number of males in these families is six crore 41 lakh 31 thousand nine hundred 92. Women are about 30 lakh less than them. Their number is six crore 11 lakh 38 thousand four hundred 60. It is clear from this that the number of women per thousand men in the state is 953.
Currently 53 lakh 72 thousand 22 people are temporarily living outside Bihar. Along with this, the government clarified that the data collected on a total of 13 aspects is confidential. Personal information will neither be shared nor published publicly. Further action will be taken by analyzing these data at the government level.
Percentage of minorities is 17.70% Muslims alone

Giving this argument, the government is saying that the upper castes and backward and extremely backward classes etc. include the population of related castes of Muslims along with Hindus.
The majority are Hindus, about 82 percent. Among the minorities, the largest number are Muslims at 17.70 percent.

Caste based census: Service of three lakh personnel
The responsibility of caste based census was given to the General Administration Department. Responsibility of the officers was also fixed for this. The counting was completed with the help of approximately three lakh personnel. A total of 2,34,667 enumerators and 40,726 observers, including primary teachers and other personnel, were deputed. All district officers were declared nodal officers for this.
For the work related to enumeration, the District Officer was appointed as the Principal Enumeration Officer and the Additional Collector was appointed as the Additional Principal Enumeration Officer along with the Sub-Divisional Officer as the Sub-Divisional Enumeration Officer. For urban areas, Municipal Commissioner Executive Officer was made City Charge Officer, Additional Municipal Commissioner and City Manager were made Assistant Charge Officers.
