Superstars have the buffer of pulling up excellent revenues for their hyped films, regardless of the reviews. The same thing has happened with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s, Tiger 3.
Tiger 3 didn’t manage to impress the critics, nor was the word-of-mouth that great either. The reviews panned the film for the lack of desired highs in this spy thriller. But the film has managed to post good numbers at the box office.
Tiger 3 has posted a record-setting Rs 43 crore nett in India on its opening day. Despite the weak advance bookings, the film could pull good revenues, thanks to spot bookings.
The film has set an all-time record for a Diwali release by collecting Rs 43 crore nett. This is the biggest opening for Salman Khan ever and he should be a relieved man now.
Tiger 3 is expected to be better in many mass belts today, 13 November which is its second day at the box office. Salman is showing his mass pull with this otherwise weak product.
