Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Konkan today to unveil the statue of Shivaji Maharaj at Rajkot Fort in Sindhudurg district. He will arrive in Maharashtra around 4.15 pm today. The Prime Minister will watch a demonstration by Indian Navy ships, submarines, aircraft and special forces from Tarkarli beach in Sindhudurga. This is the first time that the Prime Minister will be visiting Sindhudurg district for such a public event. State Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Navy officers, foreign guests will also be present on this occasion.
