Hyundai Motor India is set to make a significant impact in 2024 with the introduction of revamped versions of three of its popular SUVs – Creta, Alcazar and Tucson. Leading the charge is the eagerly anticipated Hyundai Creta faceliftscheduled for unveiling on January 16th. Boasting an enhanced design and a feature-rich interior that includes Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) technology, the Creta facelift promises to elevate the driving experience.
Notable upgrades include a new fully-digital instrument cluster akin to the one found in the Seltos. The exterior will undergo substantial changes, complementing the tried-and-true 1.5L petrol and diesel engines with the inclusion of the powerful 160bhp, 1.5L turbo petrol motor from the Verna. Transmissions will also be carried forward from the pre-facelift version. With major upgrades, the new Hyundai Creta will surely witness a decent price hike.
Following closely is the Hyundai Alcazar faceliftshowcasing minimal design alterations coupled with feature enhancements. Spy images hint at a redesigned front grille, updated headlamps with integrated Daytime Running Lights (DRLs), a revised front bumper, fresh alloy wheel designs, and new LED taillights. Interior modifications may include revamped seat upholstery, an updated steering wheel, and an improved touchscreen infotainment system. Under the hood, the Alcazar will retain its reliable 1.5L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel engines, delivering 160bhp and 115bhp, respectively.
The global debut of the 2024 Hyundai Tucson facelift has set the stage for its market launch in 2024. Sporting Hyundai’s innovative parametric Dynamics design language, the Tucson facelift showcases signature grille features, subtly revised headlamps, pronounced skid plates at the front and rear, and newly-designed alloy wheels. The interior receives a refresh with a new steering wheel, an updated digital driver’s display and infotainment system panel, and a revised central console. In the Indian market, the Tucson will offer a choice between the 2.0L petrol and turbo diesel engines
