India vs South Africa Live Score: Rain delays toss for 1st IND vs SA T20I at Durban’s Kingsmead | Cricket NewsIND vs SA 1st T20 Live Score: Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav with South African captain Aiden Markram

India vs South Africa Live Score, 1st T20: The toss for the first T20 International between Suryakumar Yadav-led India and Aiden Markram’s South Africa at Durban’s Kingsmead has been delayed due to rain in the host city on Sunday. The visitors will be looking to try different combinations in this bilateral series keeping the 2024 World Cup in the West Indies and the USA in mind.

This is the only series they will play, along with a three-match T20I series with Afghanistan in January, before going to the T20 World Cup. That gives them six matches to prepare before the extravaganza.

With the core of the team remaining the same as the previous series against Australia the members of the team will be aware of what their roles in their side would be.

However, the challenge is the adaptability to conditions as for most of the team it is their first tour to the Rainbow Nation.

While the batting can take care of itself it will be bowling which will be tested. In the absence of Hardik Pandya India has a decided to go with just five bowlers in conditions which are not conducive to spin it will be a challenge for spinners

Skipper Suryakumar Yadav though has started the Australia series well tapered off as the series went on. He will be hoping to get back into runs in the series.

Aiden Markram has already captained South Africa in the past and has won some high-profile games. He has been given a squad of youngsters to work with against a strong Indian side.
