According to the latest reports, Prabhas’ upcoming pan-Indian film “Salaar” has received an ‘A’ rating from the censor board, hinting at intense violence.

Directed by Prashanth Neel, the first installment, “Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire,” has a runtime of 2 hours and 55 minutes, longer than usual for Prashanth Neel’s films. But we have seen lengthy films can also work if the audience gets connected like in Leo and Animal.

The second trailer is anticipated next week, showcasing the high-action style Neel is known for. One song is expected to be released before the film’s release.

As of now, no pre-release event is being planned for the film. In the best scenario, some scripted interviews might be held with the cast and crew of the film.

This unconventional strategy hints at either unshakable confidence in the film’s content or the team has given up and decided to let the audience’s reception dictate the film’s fate.

The star-studded cast includes Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, Sriya Reddy, and Bobby Simha. Scheduled for a December 22nd release, the big-budget film is produced by Hombale Films.
