Tata Motors has an action-packed plan for 2024 as it’s ready to introduce as many as seven new models in the market. The Tata Punch EV will be the first model to roll out under Tata’s stable, which will be followed by the another electric car – Tata Curvv EV. The Curvv’s ICE-powered version is slated to arrive in the second half of 2024. The company will also bring in the sportier version of the Altroz premium hatchback – Altroz Racer – that was first previewed at the 2023 Auto Expo. The Tata Harrier EV and Tata Nexon Dark Edition are also part of the company’s 2024 product launch strategy.
This year, the indigenous automaker will also give a mid-life update to its highly popular Tata Punch micro SUV. Details of the updated model are scanty at this point of time. Though, the new 2024 Tata Punch facelift is expected to come significantly upgraded interior. The existing 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system could be replaced with a bigger and new 10.25-inch unit, borrowed from the Nexon. It will have better user interface and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.
Similar to Tata’s latest models, the Punch facelift might get the new 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster instead of thee 7-inch semi digital driver’s display. Features such as ventilated front seats, 360 degree camera and air purifier might also be on-board. The micro SUV could get six airbag safety as standard feature, thus giving it an equal edge over its arch rival – Hyundai Exter.
Minimal cosmetic changes are expected to be made on the new 2024 Tata Punch facelift. We expect it to get a new blacked-out grille, revised headlamps with new connected LED DRLs, a more pronounced skid plate, updated bumper and slightly revised 16-inch alloy wheels. The rear section is likely to remain more or less similar to the current model.
