Udaipur 25 January 2024. District Superintendent of Police Udaipur Bhuvan Bhushan Yadav and Lokendra Dadarwal Additional Superintendent of Police, city said that like every year, this year too the main event of Republic Day will be organized at Maharana Bhopal Stadium on 26 January 2024.
Citizens (spectators) going inside the stadium during this event are requested to carry their food packets, beverage bottles, tiffins and cans, match boxes, beedis, cigarettes, electronic goods, radios, tape records etc. Do not bring and no person should touch such suspicious objects. If you see any suspicious object, immediately inform the nearest police officer or employee posted there.
A large number of spectators will come on this occasion, so that the traffic system remains smooth and there is no inconvenience to any spectators walking on foot, there is an appeal to the general public to maintain social distance and wear masks in view of the Covid epidemic. Install and follow the rules. For this, special arrangements for traffic will be as follows. Which will last from 7 AM till the end of the program.
Entry of four and three wheelers will be prohibited at the following places:–
- From Shiksha Bhavan towards Chetak Circle.
- From Hathipol Gate towards Chetak Circle.
- From Court Square towards Chetak Circle.
- From Lok Kala Mandal towards Chetak Circle.
- Nazar Bagh, from Gumaniya Nala towards Chetak Circle.
Parking arrangements will be as follows:-
- There will be parking for two wheelers near Akashvani Kendra.
- There will be parking for four wheelers at Shiksha Bhawan intersection.
- There will be parking for four-wheelers and two-wheelers on both sides of the road near Lok Kala Mandal.
Traffic diversion will be as follows:-
- All types of vehicles coming from Fatehpura side will be able to come from Sukhadia Circle, M.G. College and Court intersection.
- All types of vehicles coming from Mallatalai will be able to come via Ayurvedic Square, Ambavagad, New Pulia or from Ayurveda Square via Shiksha Bhawan, Jariya Marg towards Hathipol, Dehligate.
- From the eve of January 26 till the end of the program, private buses operating from Pahari Bus Stand will operate from Lok Kala Mandal. Parking of any private buses along the stadium wall at the above time will be prohibited.
