A mosque in Oman became the target of shooters who opened fire on the crowd resulting in many deaths and injuries. Unfortunately, an Indian national has also lost his life in these killings. The Indian embassy shared the information about the shooting and the death of the Indian.

A total of 6 persons lost their lives in the shooting including a police officer. A Shiite mosque in Muscat was the target of the killers. This mosque witnesses a large number of South Asians who come here to offer prayers.
The police have killed all the three gunmen behind the attack and concluded the procedure. A total of 28 persons were injured in the shooting. The incident is seen as a terrorist attack and is drawing criticism from all around the world.
