Samantha has signed a new Netflix series, Rakht Brahmand, a period fantasy thriller directed by Rahi Anil Bharve and produced by Raj and DK. The series, also starring Ali Fazal, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Wamiqa Gabbi, has generated a lot of excitement among fans.
Despite this, Samantha has not posted anything about the project yet on her social media account. There are a couple of reasons for her silence.

Firstly, the series was announced without revealing the full cast. This could be a deliberate strategy to maintain mystery and build anticipation. Samantha’s involvement is expected to be highlighted closer to the release date.
Another reason is Samantha’s recent controversy on social media. She faced criticism after sharing advice about using hydrogen peroxide through a nebulizer for a viral infection.

A Twitter user, “The Liver Doc,” harshly criticized her, calling her health advice dangerous and suggesting she should be jailed. This public backlash might have prompted Samantha to stay out of the spotlight for a while to avoid further negative attention.
Rakht Brahmand marks Samantha’s third web series after The Family Man and Citadel: Honey Bunny. Notably, all three series are creations of Raj and DK. She also has a Telugu movie titled Bangaram which hasn’t begun shooting yet.
