‘Shivam Bhaje’ is a film directed by Apsar and produced by Maheshwar Reddy Mooli starring Ashwin Babu as the hero. The film has hit the screens today. And let’s go to the review and find out to what extent this film has pleased the audience!

Story:

Chandu (Ashwin Babu) is a loan recovery agent. He collects money from those who run away without paying the loan. In this sequence, he sees Shailaja (Digangana Suryavanshi) and falls in love. She works in a chemical lab. However, Chandu loses his eyes in a fight. Later, due to a dramatic incident with Lord Shiva’s grace, Chandu’s eyes are operated. When the new eyes come, Chandu sees various visuals. Who are the original eyes? What are the visuals that Chandu is seeing? What was done by Chandu with the grace of Lord Shiva..? What is the role of Dogra (dog) in this middle..? That is the rest of the story.

Plus Points:

Based on devotional incidents, this mysterious thriller has some emotional scenes and some thrilling elements. And the climax twist is also unexpected. The crime drama written by the director was interesting at some places. Especially some suspense scenes in the movie are impressive. Ashwin Babu acted very well in the role of Chandu. Digangana Suryavanshi acted well in the role of the heroine. Bollywood actor Arbaaz Khan impressed as a serious police officer.

Similarly, hyper adi punches and mannerisms are good. Brahmaji impressed in his role. Sai Dhina, Murali Sharma, Tulsi and others who appeared in other important roles did justice to their roles. The main point taken by the director Apsar, and a few scenes written elevating that point is fine. Also, the drama woven in the background of the enemy attack is also good.

Minus Points:

Although this ‘Shivam Bhaje’ movie has an interesting crime drama, the play is very simple at some places. Also, despite the devotional point and content.. the main plot was also simple. Also the track related to the murders is not good. The motive for this track should be even stronger. On the whole, the makers have elevated their intended content well on the screen, but some scenes are not impressive.

Some scenes in the first half of ‘Shivam Bhaje’ are not impressive. Moreover, the hero Ashwin Babu’s character is also weak. When the character got new eyes, the pain in the character did not elevate as much as expected. Along with this, the naturalness is lacking due to the increase in drama in the film. In the first part, the love scenes between Ashwin Babu and heroine Digangana Suryavanshi are also not impressive.

Technical Department:

Director Upsar has not been able to add good treatment to this devotional suspense thriller and increase the interest. Also the crime track should have been written a little better. Dasharathi Shivendra’s cinematography is good in the movie. The cameramen have shown very well the key scenes as well as some of the key scenes that come in the second half. Vikas Badisa’s music is okay. Chota K. Prasad’s editing is also impressive. Producer Maheshwar Reddy’s production values are very good.

Verdict:

A devotional suspense thriller, this crime mystery drama has some thrilling elements. However, the slow progress of the stories, the missing interesting elements in the first half, and the filling of the movie with unnecessary scenes are minus points for the movie. Overall, this movie does not connect with the audience as expected.
