Sanjay Leela Bhansali said that he was supposed to work on an Alia and Salman starrer project Inshallah. It got shelved and had Alia throwing a major tantrum, she cried and locked herself up!

After this, he offered her Gangubai Kathiawada as a means to compensate for the first film they were supposed to do together. And the rest is history, Alia Bhatt won a National Award for her role and rose to critical acclaim.
Deepika fans are trolling Alia for acting like a child to secure a role. Once, Alia Bhatt stated at Karan’s talk show quite meanly that Bhansali has done 3 films with Deepika but he promised her 4.

While the two actresses share a good friendship on a personal level. They often collide on the professional front being the big names of Bollywood.
However, fans take it a bit too far when they start villanising one or the other actress on intervals. Deepika used to date Ranbir Kapoor and this is also considered a reason for the dispute between Alia and Deepika.

After Bhansali’s statements, fans highlighted that Alia gets undue favour from Bollywood because she is a nepo-kid. Karan Johar has undeniably favoured Alia and now this incident also raises this concern.
