Mega producer Allu Aravind was the man behind Ghajini and the film was a trendsetter. Suriya played the lead role in this interesting attempt and AR Murugadoss was the director. Allu Aravind went on to remake the film in Hindi with Aamir Khan and the film ended up as a super hit. Recently during the promotions of Kanguva, Suriya expressed that Allu Aravind is in talks for Ghajini 2. Suriya also expressed his interest to work on the sequel. Allu Aravind and Madhu Mantena are on board to produce Ghajini 2 and the script work is happening currently.
The interesting part is Allu Aravind is in plans to bring Aamir Khan and Suriya on board for the film. While Suriya will feature in the South version, Aamir Khan will be the lead actor for the Hindi version. Both these versions will be shot simultaneously and they will release on the same day. There are a lot of other factors and the project may materialize next year. Both Suriya and Aamir Khan are the busiest Indian actors. They have to be convinced with the bound script. There is no clarity about the director who will helm Ghajini 2. More details are explained by the middle of next year.
