Former BRS Minister and Medchal MLA, Malla Reddy, landed in legal trouble as the Enforcement Directorate sent notices to him regarding illegalities in seat allocation in his colleges.
According to reports, the notices were issued concerning irregularities in the post-graduation seat allocations of the medical college owned by Malla Reddy.

It was stated that the ED issued notices seeking an explanation regarding allegations of blocking PG medical seats. Reportedly, private medical colleges in Telangana blocked 45 PG seats and sold them illegally. More details about the ED notices are yet to be revealed.
This is not the first time Malla Reddy has come under the ED’s radar. In June 2023, his colleges were raided by ED officials. In the 12 colleges where raids were conducted, officials seized key documents, pen drives, and hard disks.

Earlier this year, one of his properties was demolished by government officials for illegal construction. Despite Malla Reddy arguing that all his assets were legal and earned lawfully, he continues to face legal troubles for alleged illegal activities.
