Minister for Roads & Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy on Tuesday warned private educational institutions and said strict action would be initiated against them if they are found to be practising wrong methods to achieve ranks.

He was referring to certain institutions for putting academic pressure on students for ranks.

“It was the death of Tanush Naik of Narayana College day before yesterday, Kaushik Raghava of Sri Chaitanya Junior College yesterday and Pragna Reddy of NSR Impulse College in Pragathi Nagar today. This is sad and heart-breaking to see children with bright future ending lives,” he said, taking to X (formerly Twitter).

He appealed to the students to think about their better future and their parents and not to take decisions in haste. In the post, he shared his office contact details for students to report any emergency issues.
