Top 10 – Best-Selling SUVs In November 2024

November wasn’t a profitable month for the Indian automobile industry as buyers postponed their purchase plans to avail year-end discounts. Nearly 3.51 lakh passenger vehicles were sold last month against 3.98 lakh units in October 2024, accounting for a sales decline of 11.6 percent. Maruti Suzuki managed to retain the top spot with total sales of 1,41,312 units, registering a YoY growth of 5.3 percent. Hyundai Motor India stood at second place, while Tata Motors and Mahindra became India’s third and fourth OEMs, respectively.

SUVs continued to sell like hot cakes. In November 2024, the Hyundai Creta was the top-selling SUV with total sales of 15,452 units against 11,814 units in the corresponding month last year. It recorded a YoY sales growth of 31 percent. The South Korean automaker will soon introduce the electric iteration of the Creta SUV to challenge the Tata Curvv EV, MG ZS EV, and the upcoming Maruti eVitara. The Hyundai Creta EV will debut at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show in January.
