Standard glass lining makes market debut with 26% premium on bourses

Hyderabad: The shares of city-based specialty glass equipment manufacturer Standard Glass Lining Technology Limited made their debut on the stock exchanges with a listing at a premium of nearly 26% on Monday. While the company’s scrip listed at Rs 176 per share on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), a 25.7% premium, it listed at Rs 172 per share on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), which is a premium of around 23%.
The company’s share price finally closed at Rs 163.35 per share on BSE, a 16.68% premium, and at Rs 163.20 per share on the NSE, a 16.57% premium. The company offered its shares in the initial public offering in the price band of Rs 133 to Rs 140 per share of face value Rs 10 each.
As per NSE data, a little over 4.53 crore shares were traded on NSE, while on BSE the total number of shares traded stood at 35.78 lakh. On day one, the scrip clocked a total turnover of Rs 840.72 crore on the BSE and NSE.
The company’s market capitalisation at Monday’s closing price stood at Rs 3,258.7 crore as per BSE and Rs 3,255.7 crore as per NSE.
