Kia To Launch 2 New SUVs Very Soon!

The South Korean automaker, Kia has an aggressive business plan for the Indian market. This year, the carmaker plans to drive in the all-new Syros premium subcompact SUV, updated EV6 electric crossover and Carens MPV and its first mass-market EV. The Kia Syros price announcement is slated to take place on 1st February, while the new Kia EV6 facelift will arrive in March, 2025. Bookings for both models are already underway across the nation. Let’s take a closer look at key details of these two soon-to-be-launched Kia SUVs.

Kia Syros

Kia To Launch 2 New SUVs Very Soon!

The Syros model lineup will come in six trims and two engine options – 1.0L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel. The petrol motor pushes out a maximum power of 120bhp and 172Nm of torque, while the diesel unit produces 116bhp and 250Nm. A 6-speed manual gearbox is standard across the Kia Syros model lineup. The petrol and diesel variants will also be available with the option of a 7-speed DCT and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic transmission, respectively.

A major highlight of the new Kia compact SUV is its interior packed with features such as dual dashcams, dual 12.3-inch displays for infotainment and instrumentation, a panoramic sunroof, reclining and ventilated rear seats, Level 2 ADAS and more. It’s the most spacious and premium vehicle in its category.

Kia EV6 Facelift

The Kia EV6 facelift recently made its India debut at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show. Similar to the current model, the updated one will come via CBU (completely built up) route and in two variants – GT Line RWD and GT Line AWD. However, the prices could be slightly higher.

The powertrain setup of the updated EV6 will consist of a larger 84kWh battery pack, paired with two electric motors. Its combined power and torque outputs stand at 325bhp and 605Nm, respectively. With the new battery pack, the EV will offer a claimed range of over 650km. Its charging time will also be shorter than before. Kia claims that the electric crossover can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes by using a 350kW fast charger.
