Assam 2.0 Investment Roadshow Today

Hyderabad: The government of Assam, in collaboration with the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Ficci), is organising Advantage Assam 2.0, an investment roadshow in Hyderabad, on Thursday at Hotel Taj Krishna.

“Many companies have already shown interest in Assam and the Hyderabad roadshow will help connect with more business leaders,” said Dr Ranoj Pegu, Assam’s minister of education, welfare of plain tribe and backward classes.

The roadshow is being held as part of a series leading up to the Advantage Assam 2.0 – Investment and Infrastructure Summit 2025, which will take place in Guwahati on February 25 and 26. The event will focus on key industries such as electronics, aerospace, renewable energy, pharmaceuticals, food processing and tourism.

The minister said Assam has grown rapidly, with over Rs 65,000 crore invested in infrastructure since 2014. “Some major projects include India’s first semiconductor assembly and test unit by Tata Group in Jagiroad. The state is using its strategic location and improved infrastructure to attract investors from India and abroad,” he explained.
