Mahesh Goud Seeks Bandi Sanjay’s Apology

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Mahesh Goud took objection to Union Minister Bandi Sanjay’s warning that the Centre would not sanction any house if the housing scheme is named after Indira Gandhi.

Speaking to reporters here, he expressed his anger on Mr Sanjay – asking him to speak responsibly as a Union Minister and advised him not to stoop down to such low levels of thinking. Indira Gandhi is a legend and she sacrificed her life for the country, he said.

Mr. Mahesh Goud said that they respect Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister but what is his personality compared to Indira Gandhi? He said Central Ministers cannot threaten to withdraw a scheme based on a name. He reminded that the government doesn’t discriminate people on political ideology while sanctioning houses and asked Mr. Sanjay to apologise.

Mr. Goud also predicted that the BRS would split and will lose relevance by the next Assembly elections. He said he understands the frustration of BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao over Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy securing huge investments and asked him to appreciate the Congress for its achievements as Telangana would benefit.
