Mahindra & Mahindra aims to globalize its new born-electric SUVs (BE 6 and XEV 9e), which were introduced in November 2024. Upcoming Mahindra SUVs In 2025
Mahindra XUV 3xo Ev:
The home-grown automaker is reportedly working on the electric iteration of the XUV 3XO subcompact SUV, which is expected to arrive in coming months. However, there is no official word on the product and its launch timeline. This compact electric SUV from Mahindra will go up against the Tata Nexon EV, which is currently dominating the EV segment. The Mahindra XUV 3xo Ev is expected to be offered with a 35kWh battery pack. Details about the electric motor and range are yet to be revealed. Minimal cosmetic changes are expected including revised front and rear bumpers, a redesigned front grille and ‘EV’ badging along with the newly-designed alloy wheels.
Mahindra Scorpio N, Thar, XUV700 Facelifts:
Aiming to further boost sales of its three highly-popular SUVs, Mahindra & Mahindra will introduce the updated Scorpio N, Thar and XUV700 in 2025. All three SUVs will receive feature upgrades, while their design and powertrains are likely to remain intact. The 2025 Mahindra Scorpio N might come with the larger infotainment system and updated ADAS suite, while the XUV700 facelift might get the 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, triple screen setup and augmented reality-based HUD. The Mahindra Thar facelift could be offered with a bigger touchscreen infotainment system and driver’s display. The carmaker might also offer 6 airbags as standard across the model lineup, while the higher trim could come exclusively with the Level 2 ADAS and a 360 degree camera.
Mahindra Xev 7e:
The electric iteration of the Mahindra XUV700 SUV will arrive towards the end of 2025. Called the Mahindra Xev 7ethe electric SUV is expected to share its powertrain with the XEV 9e. The latter comes with the two battery packs – 59kWh and 79kWh – delivering a claimed MIDC range of 542km and 656km, respectively. Most of its features could also be sourced from the XEV 9e including the Harman Kardon sound system, VisionX HUD, a panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS, three screen setup, two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated logo, white seat upholstery and more.
