BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao said the State was seeing a rise in farmers’ suicides and realtors and not in terms of development as claimed by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
He claimed that 450 farmers have committed suicide in the 450 days rule of the Congress due to poor response from the government on the issues confronting them. KTR was speaking after welcoming some leaders and cadre from the BJP and Congress in Chevella constituency.
He accused the Congress government of financial mismanagement and failing the farmers by diluting the Rythu Bandhu scheme and loan waiver promise. He also blamed Congress for the SLBC tunnel collapse. He also said that the State was facing a water crisis and crops were withering as the government has failed to manage its water resources.
