Considering the increasing demand for CNG vehicles, Nissan India plans to introduce the CNG version of the Magnite subcompact SUV in the couple of months. The CNG kit will be available at dealerships as an accessory kit. The Nissan Magnite CNG will use the 1.0L naturally aspirated petrol engine, paired with a CNG kit. Only a manual gearbox will be on offer. The power and fuel efficiency figures of the CNG variant are yet to be revealed. Though, the Magnite CNG is likely to offer a mileage of 18 to 22 km per kg.
Nissan dealers will offer a 1-year warranty for the CNG kit. The Nissan Magnite CNG is expected to be priced premium around Rs 79,000 – Rs 79,500 over its regular petrol counterparts. As of now, there is no clarity whether the CNG kit will be offered across the compact SUV lineup or reserved for select trims.

The Nissan Magnite received a midlife update in October, 2024.
