Tirupati: A 52-year-old motorist identified as Gampa Subba Rao died after crashing into an electric pole near Utukur in CK Dinne mandal of Kadapa district early on Saturday. CK Dinne police said Subba Rao sustained severe head injuries and died on the spot before he could be shifted to the hospital. Police registered a case and shifted the body of the deceased for postmortem.
