Elderly man beaten to death by youngsters over an argument in Kanchanbagh-Telangana Today


As per available information, Zakir Khan(62), who runs a grocery store at ‘C Block’ Baba Nagar reportedly had an argument over the pan shop owners in the neighbourhood, after the customers of the pan shop occupied the space in front of his store by sitting on chairs.

Hyderabad: Elderly man beaten to death by youngsters over an argument in Kanchanbagh


Hyderabad: An elderly man was beaten to death by a group of youngsters allegedly over an argument about a trivial matter at Baba Nagar in Kanchanbagh on Wednesday night.

As per available information, Zakir Khan(62), who runs a grocery store at ‘C Block’ Baba Nagar reportedly had an argument over the pan shop owners in the neighbourhood, after the customers of the pan shop occupied the space in front of his store by sitting on chairs.


When Zakir Khan asked them to remove the chairs, a group of youngsters assaulted him, gave him fist blows on face, chest and pushed him down. He collapsed on the spot and died.

The Kanchanbagh police visited the spot and took up investigation.

Efforts are on to trace and nab the suspects.
