Tirupati: A rowdy sheeter identified as Srujan Krishna was hacked to death by unidentified assailants in Nellore late on Friday. According to Vedayapalem CI Srinivasulu Reddy, Srujan Krishna was an accused in several cases including a murder reported near the Ramalingapuram under bridge recently. A group of unidentified assailants surrounded Srujan Krishna near Podalakur ZP high school and hacked him to death with knives. Vedayapalem V Town police rushed to the crime scene after learning about the murder and shifted the body of the deceased to govt general hospital in Nellore. Police have registered a case and have laid a hunt for the absconding accused.
