Vijayawada: Former MP Vijayasai Reddy has described his role in the Andhra Pradesh liquor scam as that of a whistleblower. Taking to social media platform ‘X’, Reddy stated, “The thieves who were caught are trying to escape… and those who haven’t been caught are dragging my name into it. I haven’t touched a single rupee. Only half the clothes of the liquor thieves have been stripped off. I will fully cooperate in removing the rest.”
Reddy recently disclosed that the alleged mastermind behind the liquor scam during the YSRCP regime is Kesireddy Rajasekhar Reddy. “The karta, karma, and kriya of the liquor scam is Raj K.C. Reddy. If needed, I will reveal more details in the future,” he had said earlier.
It is known that K.C. Reddy Rajasekhar Reddy was arrested by the SIT authorities on Monday in connection with the scam.
