
A recent viral video has sparked attention after travel blogger Chow Sureng Rajkonwar revealed that he received a tray of black, mouldy eggs from Blinkit, Zomato’s quick-commerce arm.
According to Rajkonwar, the eggs looked fine on the surface but gave off a strange smell, prompting him to check further. Upon cracking several eggs, he found that every single one was rotten. One even oozed out black liquid on camera, shocking viewers.

Rajkonwar received a refund after reporting the issue, but he criticized the company for lacking proper quality control. “This isn’t about money — it’s about safety,” he said.
Blinkit responded by saying product quality is a priority and asked for his order ID for investigation.

However, the video’s comment section was filled with similar complaints from other users, suggesting that this may not be an isolated incident.
