Hyderabad: Former Minister and senior BRS MLA T Harish Rao was hospitalised on Monday evening after he developed high fever and exhaustion following a packed day of party engagements at Telangana Bhavan. He has been admitted to KIMS Hospital in Begumpet, where doctors stated that his condition is stable and advised rest.
Harish Rao had a hectic schedule as he accompanied BRS working president KT Rama Rao for a crucial meeting with party chief K Chandrashekhar Rao ahead of Rama Rao’s ACB interrogation in the Formula E case. He remained at Telangana Bhavan throughout the day, coordinating with party leaders, addressing cadre, and monitoring developments.
Following the BRS working president’s return from the ACB office, Harish Rao addressed party activists gathered at the venue. Soon after his speech, he reportedly experienced fatigue and high fever, prompting immediate medical attention. He was shifted to KIMS Hospital, where doctors diagnosed fever-related exhaustion.
Upon learning about his condition, KT Rama Rao visited Harish Rao at the hospital and wished him a speedy recovery.
Harish Rao is under the care of Dr. S. Patil Sudesh, General Physician, Department of Internal Medicine, for viral fever. He is currently undergoing treatment, according to hospital authorities.
