Maruti Suzuki’s first electric offering is all set to hit roads in March, 2025. Called the Maruti e Vitara, the EV made its first public appearance at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show last month. Prior to its official arrival, select dealers have started taking pre-bookings for the electric SUV. The Maruti Vitara electric will be offered in three variants – Delta, Zeta and Alpha. While the variant-wise features and details are yet to be revealed, here’s a look at the features we can expect from its entry-level Delta variant.

Battery and Range:

First thing first, the powertrain. The Maruti e Vitara Delta will be made available only with the smaller 48.8kWh battery pack and the standard 2WD system. The Zeta and Alpha trims will come with the bigger 61.1kWh battery powered by the front axle mounted motors. This setup returns a claimed power of 173bhp, and an MIDC-rated range of over 500km.
