Kuberaa BO Trends: What’s Minimum Expectations?

One of the interesting films in the second half of 2025 is Kuberaa, directed by Sekhar Kammula. The film is set to release on June 20 and has already created strong pre-release buzz.

With big names like Nagarjuna, Dhanush, and Rashmika Mandanna in the cast, audience expectations are quite high.

Sekhar Kammula, known for his emotional storytelling, seems to be in top form. The recently released theatrical trailer received a solid response.

It highlights Sekhar Kammula’s signature style — simple yet emotional narratives. Nagarjuna’s character, in particular, stood out and drew a lot of attention. Since the trailer launch, interest in ticket bookings has surged.

Advance bookings opened strong, especially in metro cities. On BookMyShow, Kuberaa quickly became the top trending movie.

Despite limited screens, over 12,000 tickets were sold in a single day — a solid feat for a Telugu film starring a non-Telugu hero.

Trade experts predict a strong opening. Dhanush is coming off back-to-back flops like Raayan (in Telugu) and NEEK (as director). He needs to return to his winning ways.

Nagarjuna is making a comeback after Naa Saami Ranga, and Rashmika continues to enjoy pan-India popularity. Together, they bring both mass and class appeal.

Kuberaa also carries a socially relevant message — something audiences have recently shown more support for. The BGM by Devi Sri Prasad seems to have come out well, judging by the trailer.

With just less than three days to go, the film is picking up real momentum in advance bookings.

If this pace continues, Kuberaa could become another major hit in Sekhar Kammula’s career. All eyes are now on how it performs at the box office on Day 1.

The minimum expectations are that the film should collect 8 to 10 crores share on the first day. The film needs to collect 40–45 crores share to be declared a theatrical hit, according to trade experts.
