Hyderabad rains: Yellow alert issued for next few days; Check IMD forecast

The India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Hyderabad from June 23 to June 26 with expectations of heavy rains in the city.

Hyderabad is likely to witness a mix of hot and unstable weather conditions in the coming week. From June 23 to June 25, the city will experience partly cloudy skies with a possibility of rain, thunderstorms, or even duststorms. Daytime temperatures are expected to remain high, reaching up to 35°C, while minimum temperatures will stay around 24°C.

On June 26, conditions may ease slightly, with a generally cloudy sky and light rain predicted. This may bring some relief, although the mercury is still likely to touch 34°C, with a slight increase in minimum temperatures to 25°C.

The weather will revert to its earlier pattern by June 27 and 28, with partly cloudy skies and chances of rain or thunderstorms. Maximum temperatures will hover around 34 to 35°C, while minimums will remain steady at 24°C.

Overall, Hyderabad residents should stay alert for brief but intense weather events like thunderstorms or duststorms through the week, while also preparing for continued heat during the daytime.
