Hyderabad: The Hyderabad police on Wednesday arrested four natives of Maharashtra along with a local person for drug peddling. Two customers were also held. The police seized 276 grams of cocaine and eight mobile phones from them.
The arrested are Mujaffar (30), Vinod (53), Chaitanya Vinayak (29), Mustak Khan (31), all from Maharashtra and Prem, a software employee from Hyderabad.
The five persons were procuring cocaine from foreign drug peddlers and supplying it to local persons in the city at a higher price.
Two local consumers, Ravi Kumar and Sachin, both businessmen, were arrested by the police.
