Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy said that Hyderabad would be developed as an epicentre for cinema production. He was speaking to winners of the 71st National Film Awards who called on him here on Monday.
Appreciating the efforts of the award winners, the Chief Minister said that the government would provide necessary support to promote film industry in Telangana. The film personalities brought to the attention of the Chief Minister the challenges faced by the film industry.
Later, Revanth Reddy felicitated ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’ director Anil Ravipudi, ‘Hanu-Man’ director Prashanth Varma and visual effects team members Venkat and Srinivas, fight masters Nandu and Prithvi; ‘Baby’ film director Sai Rajesh, and singer Rohit who won the best singer award.
‘Hanu-Man’ producers Chaitanya Reddy and Niranjan Reddy, ‘Baby’ producer SKN (Sreenivas Kumar), ‘Bhagavanth Kesari’ producer Garapati Sahu and others participated in the event.
