The Semi-Sport had a pretty Gordan England designed boat tailed body.

Very difficult to forget our good friend Kartik, even though he has left us some time back. We will continue to celebrate him and hence this post is dedicated to our dear Kartik
Barnfind in Gujarat, is this 1931 Semi-Sport. Introduced in the same year, the Semi-Sport had a pretty Gordan England designed boat tailed body. In production for only 11 months with just 744 units made, as the MG Midget M Type, which share many things was actually flying the sporting flag.
Hidden in a corner amongst 3 cars is this Semi-Sport.
Whilst in a covered shed, there obviously was lot of dampness
The car still sports the black colour in patches
The Boat Tail which identifies this car as a Semi-Sport
The meters and the condition of the dash tells you that this car was very original when parked!
The engine though complete shows signifcant impact of nature
From corrosion on the Tappet Cover, this car must have been standing in the same place for multiple decades!
Probably first time in the sun after many many moons
Kartik must be smiling on this find!
Cheers
KPS
