Telangana Hyderabad Rains, IMD Weather Forecast Today LIVE News Updates: Due to a heavy rainfall warning from the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Cyberabad police on Friday advised IT companies in Hyderabad to allow employees to work from home to help ease potential traffic congestion. The forecast predicts moderate to heavy rainfall, along with gusty winds reaching 40 to 50 km/h, likely to hit the city on Friday and Saturday.
The weather department also issued alerts for heavy to very heavy rain in isolated areas across several Telangana districts, including Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Mahabubabad, Warangal, and Hanumakonda.

In response to the forecast, Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed the state administration to remain on high alert. According to the Chief Minister’s Office, all departments have been instructed to monitor flood-prone zones and take necessary steps to safeguard the public. District collectors have also been told to assess vulnerable areas and, if needed, move residents from low-lying regions to relief camps as a safety measure.
