Hyderabad: A day after the car blast near Red Fort in New Delhi, Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) issued a security advisory for passengers informing travellers about enhanced security checks.The RGIA authorities asked passengers to arrive at the airport earlier than usual, allowing ample time for security checks. In a post on X, the RGIA said, “Kindly cooperate with the security staff to ensure smooth processes. Please check with your airlines for the latest flight information.” Airport authorities said passengers may experience longer wait times and are advised to arrive well in advance for their flights.In order to ensure tight security, additional screening measures have been put in place at entry points, baggage checks, and boarding gates as part of the precautionary steps.
