2025 Tata Sierra Is Finally Here

The all-new Tata Sierra has finally made its official debut ahead of market launch on 25th November, 2025. The carmaker has confirmed that the SUV will be offered with multiple powertrain options – petrol, diesel and electric. The petrol range will include the new 1.5L naturally aspirated and 1.5L TGDi engines, while the diesel model will use the 1.5L motor borrowed from the Curvv. The Sierra EV will share its powertrain with the Harrier EV, which is currently available with the 55kWh and 65kWh battery pack options.

Interior & Features

2025 Tata Sierra Is Finally Here

We now have a clear look at the production-ready interior of the upcoming Sierra SUV. The centre stage is taken by a triple screen setup comprising of a touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster and a dedicated passenger-side touchscreen. Each unit measures 12.3-inches. The Tata Sierra has dual-tone cabin theme with a 4-spoke steering wheel featuring an illuminated Tata logo at the centre.

Tata has packed the Sierra with several advanced features including an auto dimming IRVM, a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, front and rear parking sensors, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless phone charger, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting and more.

On the safety front, the 2025 Tata Sierra offers 6 airbags, electronic stability control, ABS with EBD, tyre pressure monitoring system and Level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance system).

Design Details

Tata Sierra diesel

The overall design of the new Tata Sierra is completely different from the original Sierra. It now looks more modern and rugged, featuring elements such as a new front grille, slim and split headlamp setup, shorter front and rear overhangs, squarish wheel arches, 19-inch alloy wheels, a sharper roofline and more.

Rivals & Expected Price

In the midsize SUV segment, the new Sierra will take on the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, Honda Elevate, Maruti Grand Vitara and Victoris and Toyota Hyryder. The entry-level petrol version is expected to be priced around 11 lakh, while the top-end ICE trim might cost nearly Rs 20 lakh. The Tata Sierra EV could be priced within the price range of Rs 20 lakh – Rs 25 lakh.
