BHPian Tony2298 recently shared this with other enthusiasts: Minor Running Repairs Post service and tyre change the WagonR has been running ever so smoothly and it’s actually quite a joy to use this machine, not only coz of the fact that its small footprint makes it so damn manoeuvrable in nasty traffic but also of the fact that I feel so close to my Dad while driving it. Anyways, coming back to the topic, first up, wiper blades. The OEM blades are of poor quality and tend to give way within six months or so. It might also be because the UV index this year was quite high during summer months, and that perhaps took a toll on the blades. Didn’t want to try aftermarket stuff and just got it replaced with another pair of OE blades itself. Apart from that, the RHS headlamp assembly had deteriorated quite a bit, causing poor throw even from bright LEDs, causing diminished vision during night drives. Therefore replaced the entire assembly from the ASC itself; the LHS assembly is in back order and should arrive by the end of this week. The old assembly The new assembly arrived within a week. The LHS assembly is in back order Leaving all these minor jobs aside, the WagonR continues to run strong even after so many years. I recently took it for a long intercity drive (300 km one way), which was so enjoyable. The only thing I missed is a nice music player which would allow me to pair my phone and play my favourite tracks, yes, I do have some nice CDs, but my curated playlist on YT music is unmatched. Planning to install a nice touchscreen music player from a reputed OEM, let’s see how it goes. Thanks Tony Check out BHPian comments for more insights and information.
